Mahmoud originally came from Baghdad but left when he was sixteen. In the years before he was member of a special army unit in charge of protecting Saddam. He calls it Saddams ‘Hitlerjugend’. When he felt he became too much of an animal he left the unit and left Iraq. According to him home is more a feeling than a place.
